If you wish to attend one of the public events listed opposite, it is recommended that you contact the museum during opening hours to reserve your place(s).
The normal opening hours for the museum are as below, but see the “What’s happening” opposite for exceptions to this schedule.

Visits are on the first Monday of each month, afternoons 2-4 p.m.
Please note there will be NO visit in January (New Years Day!)The first visit in 2024 will be on Monday February 5th. 2-4 p.m.

The museum will be closed for its customary two weeks over the festive period as shown. The last day for any shop purchases (e.g. Christmas cards) will be Wednesday 20th December. We reopen at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday 3rd January 2024.
