Fundraiser Quiz Night

We are excited to announce that local Ashby business, Lil Bo's Deli, are hosting a fundraiser Quiz Night on 30 April 2025 in aid of the museum. Tickets are £5 per person, and max team size 4 people.

aPRIL - JUNE EXHIBITION: 

Change in Fashion from Saxon times to the 1980s

Lisa Smith's travelling exhibition comes to Ashby Museum in the Spring. She has created a marvellous collection of over 100 small models (Barbie and Ken size!) authentically dressed in the fashion of the times, from Saxon, through Medieval, Tudor, Stuart, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian to the later 20th century. Each costume has been handsewn by Lisa and the project has taken over five years to complete.


jULY - august EXHIBITION: 

LOCAL ARCHAEOLOGY

As part of the annual Festival of Archaeology - a programme of archaeological events across the UK for people of all ages and backgrounds - the Museum will again be highlighting some of the rich heritage of Ashby and neighbourhood.


september - DECEMBER EXHIBITION: 

The Village of Packington

After the successful exhibitions in 2024 on the villages of Breedon, Coleorton and Blackfordy, it is the Packington Village History group's turn to showcase their village.

With its fine church, school and historic buildings, the Packington group has plenty to present to visitors to the Museum.
